  DELTA specialties exhibited for the second time at the Middle East Coatings Show, this time with its own stand in Cairo , A. Republic of Egypt. See pics from the MECS 2009. Several new products were launched during this important event:

DELTA-SC 2580: a 100% active surface control additive that exhibits excellent anti-cratering behaviour and levelling  properties. It is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings and printing inks with a pH range of 4-10.  DELTA-SC 2580 reduces the surface tension in aqueous  systems and improves substrate wetting. It causes little or no foam stabilization and does not affect the inter-adhesion

DELTA-DC 3590: It is a pH-independent and completely water-soluble cost-effective polymeric dispersion control additive for enhancing the dispersion of organic/inorganic pigments and carbon blacks in aqueous media. It is compatible with a wide range of resin and vehicle systems and considered suitable for VOC-free applications. DELTA-DC 3590 can be used in resin-containing as well as in resin-free applications to produce pigment concentrates for water-based coatings and printing inks

DELTA-DC 4002: It is a cost-effective non-ionic general purpose dispersion control additive for low-end non-aqueous systems with polarity ranging from low to medium. It is suitable for the manufacture of colorants based on long-oil alkyd resin for tinting alkyd paints. Base paints stabilized with DELTA-DC 4002 have excellent gloss and better color acceptance and do not demonstrate flooding/floating when tinted with colorants

MORDRY WD series: These are water-dispersible (WD) driers (MORDRY 410 WD, MORDRY Barium 10 WD, MORDRY Calcium 4 WD, MORDRY Cobalt 6 WD, MORDRY Manganese 6 WD and MORDRY Zirconium 12 WD)  suited for water reducible oxidatively drying systems given their excellent ease of incorporation in water.
